Monochrome is the 3rd exhibition organized by Blank Wall Gallery. This was an initiative we took because of the conditions caused by Covid-19; we wanted artists to keep in touch with the people and since the situation seemed to last for long, we thought this was a very good alternative. Up to now, Blank Wall Gallery has given over $4,000 in cash awards. Monochrome was met with great enthusiasm and we had a great number of artists with great works from all around the world. What attracted photographers and made the difference was the fact that the artists themselves have a word on the voting process, as they are the ones who vote and not a committee. In Blank Wall Gallery we have decided to keep promoting and projecting photographers’ work in this way as long as there is interest on their behalf.
