To continue promoting the language of contemporary art despite the difficulties of the period, Atelier97 contemporary art, the digital space born from the idea of the artist and curator Alessio Guano, inaugurates the exhibition DIALOGS2020 CONTEMPORARY CONNECTION on Thursday 25 February in virtual form.
The virtual exhibition intends to analyze the complex world of contemporary art and the dense network of digital contacts that the artists have created in the historical period we are experiencing, characterized by the necessary need for physical separation. 25 artists and more than 30 new works of painting, graphics, photography, and ceramics are presented to the public, some of which unpublished, created specifically for the project.
"We have reached the second edition of DIALOGS, a project of exchange and analysis of contemporary research - says Guano -. In recent months I have spent a lot of time in the selection of artists and in the realization of the exhibition event. A few months after the publication on social networks media of the open call, more than 200 artists from all over the world, mainly Europeans, joined with great enthusiasm, of which 25 accepted. The selection was difficult, but we achieved the goal: to collect quality works and create a new path that could describe the current research in the artistic fields of painting-photography- sculpture ".
